You may know the Shelby Main Street program through one of its events designed to include the community while supporting downtown businesses – WILD about Shelbyville Arts & Music Festival, the Jubilee Breakfast, Jubilee Car Cruise-In, Shelbyville Jeep Invasion, Summer Concert Series and Celebration of Lights.  What you may not know about the program is the focus on the long term economic vitality of downtown Shelbyville. This includes a focus to have zero empty storefronts, a wide variety of retail, service, and dining businesses, and increased local and visiting foot traffic. In addition, Shelby Main Street works to conserve the community’s historic, architectural and natural resources while improving design quality and pedestrian movement.
